Before you start reading this brochure a child in

Kenya drops out School, before you finish this first

line a child runs away from home to the streets of our

cities, before you finish this page a girl-child gives

birth to an unwanted baby and before you finish

reading this brochure a child is orphaned of AIDS.

Now thousands of children roam the Kenyan city

street.

Tomorrow hundreds will join them. They are searc-

ing for things we take for granted - ameal, a blanket,

a safe place to sleep and more important

compassionate.

They lead desparate lives filled with violence Aids,

broken relationships, harassment and child labour.

Children living day by day with no responsibility, no

direction and lack of discipline as they are addicted

to sniffing glue, gasoline and other illicit drugs. They

live in a world without love,no reasons to live a

world with no future.
